Evo X SST Xtreme-400 Development Report 1

Regular visitors to our facility may have seen our Evo X Xtreme 400 SST development Car, progress to date is very good, our highly acclaimed Evo X Brake upgrade has been fitted along with a set of Adjustable Intrax Dampers ( I will write a separate feature on these ) both these upgrades providing a big Improvement in handling and Braking performance.

The power package upgrade includes the super SSP Transmission Cooling Kit, Piper Exhaust System, Hybrid twin exit free-flow Turbo Downpipe, AEM Induction Kit with Cold Air Feed, HKS Iridium Spark Plugs, Up-rated Fuel Pump and Holder, ARP Competition Rod Bolts and a modified Turbo with Custom ECUTEK Map.

We have new 500bhp  Clutch Plates and Viton Seals to fit next however  we thought it would be Interesting to see what power the standard ones would cope with, first runs on the Dyno saw 380bhp and 370Ibs/ft Torque before the factory-fit clutches started slipping.

The Demo car will be back on the Dyno as soon as the up-rated transmission parts are installed. Indications are that our 400bhp is a very easy target to achieve with this set up and it transforms the Evo X SST into a true Supercar Slayer!
