Evo X Brake Upgrade

The latest Evo X Braking system is a significant improvement over that of earlier Evo variants, it comprises of larger diameter Discs with separate bells at the front, and stronger calipers too. The latest SST model however weighs in at a close to 200kgs over the Evo IX so a brake re-design was an essential part of the engineering, and while more than adequate for normal performance use, we have found it rather lacking on Track Days when pushing hard, and with more Evos X’s now being tuned as the 08 plates come close to the end of w’tee we felt it time to engineer a great up-rated Braking system but at a sensible price.

Our Stage1 Brake upgrade comprises of up-rated AP Racing Rotors fitted to the standard Bells, Braided Stainless Steel Hoses, Performance Friction Brake Group N Brake pads, and Castrol SRF Racing Brake Fluid. The difference over the standard system is truly significant, a must if you want to get the best out of an Ecutek performance up-grade or track day use.

The same system is employed on our Evo X Xtreme 450 and our soon to be launched SST 400 models so its been tried, tested and proven by ourselves and the motoring press alike, pedal feel is much improved and a firm push on the brake pedal wipes off speed immediately, indeed it provides much greater confidence all-round and is a must for every serious Evo X driver.  Call Simon now for our special introductory price offer !
