Evo X SST Gearbox and Power Up-grade

As many Evo X enthusiasts know the superb twin clutch SST gearbox is fabulous to use with its super smooth  lightning quick operation. Sadly however power up-grades have been limited with this model due to concerns over the gearbox ability to cope with any additional power, indeed some customers have reported their standard power car dropping in to limp mode on Track Days, due to transmission overheating.

A solution to the problem is now available! we are working closely with South Side Performance in the US and we have SST transmission cooling kits in stock. This enables us to offer a simple ECUTEK re-map, ARP Competition Con Rod Bolt Replacement, Cat back Exhaust System and Induction kit, providing your SST with 385 bhp and 350ft/lbs Torque. With a few other modifications we can get you over 400bhp, but at that point we recommend, supply and install, up-rated Clutch Plates and Gearbox A & B Pistons with Viton high temperature seals.

The conversion in the photographs feature the deep sump pan with dip stick, (a shallow pan option is also available,if larger intercooler pipe kits are fitted) front mounted, fan assisted oil cooler with heavy duty oil pump and all associated pipework. 

The cooling system has undergone extensive high speed testing at the new F1 Curcuit in Dubia with no problems whatsoever. The additional oil capacity and high efficency matrix solve any gearbox overheating issues.
