Tuning Packages for Evo V - VI - VII -VIII - MR - IX

XT-RA 320 / XT330 / XT350 MR / XT350S MR / XT360 / XT400 / Fast Road Brake Upgrade

Engine & Braking

XT330 (Evolution V - VI - VII - VIII)

  • HKS Sports Air Induction kit
  • Haywood and Scott Sports Exhaust system with down pipe, fully manufactured from high grade stainless steel.
  • ARP uprated Competition Conrod Bolts
  • Turbo boost upgrade (1.4 bar VII, 1.275 bar V & VI)
  • Castrol RS Fully Synthetic Engine Oil and replacement Oil Filter

This well proven and developed conversion was first offered by us in 1997 and since then we have modified over 200 Evolution V, VI and VII's proving it to be one of the most reliable packages available. Boasting over 320 BHP and 330ft/lbs Torque on VII this conversion is not just about an increase in power, the increased flexibility of the engine following our modifications is quite startling and is tremendous value for money.

Price: £1,595 including VAT and fitting.

XT350 MR (Evolution VIII MR)

  •  APS 3" exhaust system with down pipe, manufactured from high grade stainless steel
  • APS Induction kit and water relocation kit
  • ARP uprated competition con rod bolts
  • Turbo boost pressure modification
  • Castrol RS fully synthetic engine oil and filter (for engine that have covered in excess of 4500 miles, Castrol Magnatec for engine of lower mileage)

Due to the many standard factory engine upgrades on the Evolution VIII MR model which produces 314 BHP and 312 llbs/ft torque, this allows our stage one conversion to lift power to 350 BHP and 330 llbs/ft torque. Tested by Japanese Performance magazine in their January 2005 edition, their quote "little compares to stepping out of the XT350 after a fast B road run. You'll literally be buzzing", sums it up, you simply can't get better value tuning for the MR.

XT350S MR (Evolution VIII MR)

This latest upgrade for the MR incorporates the XT350 package plus Tomei sports camshafts. Whilst engine BHP is similar to to the standard upgrade, due to our careful selection of performance camshafts, torque increases to a WHOPPING 385 llbs/ft.

Price : £2,996 Including VAT   

XT360 (Evolution IX)

Specially developed for the Evo IX, this package consists of :

  • APS full stainless exhaust system including decat pipe
  • APS induction kit
  • APS intercooler resevoir
  • ARP strengthened con rod bolts
  • Boost increase to fast road specification
  • fully synthetic oil change and oil filter

XT360 fast road conversion produces an amazing 360 bhp / 360 lbs/ft torque, all this for just £1880.00 inc vat.

Important Notes :

FQ340 model upgrades are also available, the XT350 conversion with APS 3" exhaust system and air box lifting power to 348 BHP / 350 llbs/ft torque (335 BHP / 330 llbs/ft torque showing before conversion).

When purchased with a new car, the warranty offered with that particular vehicle will not be affected by the performance upgrade, with the exception of clutches and brake discs. In respect of both of these items with considered use, we find both adequate for our upgrades, however, for the more enthusiastic driver, we offer many upgrades to suit their requirements and budgets, just call for further details.

The XT400 and MR version has been developed through many years of expertise in the tuning industry, research and development, our running in procedure must be strictly followed to get maximum potential from the engine, we can carry out the running in procedure at extra cost.

XT400 and XT400 MR are based on upgraded XT330 and 350 models which include uprated exhausts and air induction kits. To achieve maximum power these items must be included but are not essential for the customer who prefers a more refined package.

XT400 (All Evolution Models)

The Xtreme 2.3 litre XT400 engine upgrade is now available. Producing approximately 370 bhp @ 5,250 rpm and 430 lbs / ft torque @ 3,500 rpm, this proven reliable conversion should satisfy the majority of enthusiasts, offering one of the best all round value for money tuning packages for Evolution V,VI,VII,VIII, MR and IX models. The development programme was overssen by former Mitsubishi World Rally Team Workshop Manager Toney Cox, with design expertise provided by ex Motec and Holden race engineer Mick Kehl. For the technically minded, the specification of the XT400 2.3 litre conversion is as follows :

  • Xtreme designed Oliver I beam con rods
  • Xtreme designed forged pistons (Ross or JE)
  • 2.3 litre long stroke crank
  • ARP competition head stud kit
  • Full engine gasket set including competition head gasket
  • Main, big end and thrust bearing kit
  • Helix Organic single plate clutch (35% uprated)
  • Motec M800 pro Ecu with Xtreme custom map
  • High flow fuel pump
  • Honing to cylinder block to improve oil and water flow
  • Castrol RS fully synthetic oil and filter change

XT400 conversion is priced at £7,800 including VAT, this conversion comes complete with a full 12 months parts and labour warranty *.

XT400 conversion is available in kit form for self build at £5,399 inc vat.

It is recommended that the vehicle be fitted with a high performance exhaust system and induction kit prior to conversion, recommendations will be given if exhaust / induction are not up to adequate specification required.

*Terms and conditions for XT400 conversion, quoted price is subject to condition of donor engine. On dismantling of the donor engine and measuring of the cylinder bores / turbo inspection etc, the customer will be priovided with a report detailing any additional work we believe should be carried out or parts required before conversion is fitted. Warranty period is for 12 months and is transferable, however, if engine or ecu seals fitted by Xtreme Ltd are broken or tampered with, the warranty will be void.

Options available for XT400 :

Titanium con rods / Anti lag system with throttle kicker and vacuum tank / Xtreme sports wastegate actuator / roller ball turbo conversion / aluminium lightweight flywheel. 

EVOLUTION VIII 260

FAST ROAD BRAKING UPGRADE (All Evolution Models fitted with Brembo Calipers)

As an addition to our very popular fast road engine upgrades, we can now offer an upgrade to your existing original equipment Brembo braking system.

The upgrade consists of the new PFB two piece brake discs, brake master cylinder stopper kit, Goodridge braided hoses and Castrol SRF competition brake fluid, fast road front and rear brake pads.

This upgrade is a lot more cost effective than a full braking upgrade, ie, AP calipers and discs.

Cost of upgrade listed fitted is £1400.00 inc vat.

HIGH PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION UPGRADES

We can now offer suspension packages for all budgets and needs, from Lowering spring kits to full suspension set ups.

Lowering spring kits offer improved handling especially when combined with fast road geometry settings, more stability and reduced body roll, not forgetting the appearance of the car, average drop 30 - 35mm.

Full damper kits were designed to offer the driver, greater performance and with on avergae 16 levels of adjustment, the discomfort of track settings can be elimanted for road use. Many Tein damper systems can be fitted with EDFC (electronic damping force controller), this allows the driver to control the damping force at the touch of a button from the drivers seat.
